Veterinary Technician

Do you have a passion for taking care of pets and the people who love them?

At West Trenton Animal Hospital, we are passionate about the care we provide to our patients and clients. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to support our goal of creating healthier lives for our patients and their families.

As an experienced veterinary technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

  • Vaccine knowledge
  • Preventative care knowledge
  • Medication dispensing and administering
  • Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
  • Pharmacology calculations
  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

This is a full-time position for an experienced (at least 1 year) technician. Experience is preferred but not required.

Pet Care Attendant

West Trenton Animal Hospital is looking for a Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, however, rotating evenings, Saturday and Sunday shifts are required.

Duties may include walking dogs (both hospitalized and boarding), cleaning dog runs/cages and cat cages (in both the kennel and hospital areas), feeding pets in the kennel, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kennel area. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

This position requires a responsible individual who is capable of working independently. The candidate must have experience with animals and is comfortable working in a customer service environment. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
